Darrell B. Rush B.S.

Darrell Rush brings over twenty years experience as a professional facilitator and experiential leader to the Direct Effect Team. He began his career in retail sales working in a variety of positions for a large department store chain. He graduated from the College of Recreation and Leisure studies with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation.

As a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist he created two dynamic Team Building programs, T.R.E.C. Training on Ropes Experience the Challenge for Charter Hospitals and Success Quest for Century Health Care Systems. Both focused on building high performing teams at home, in the community, and in the workplace.

Prior to Direct Effect he worked for fourteen years for a Team Building company described as “the world’s largest provider of interactive Team Building events” based in the Southwest. He spent seven years as the Program Director and seven years as the Managing Director. He has created and facilitated Team Building sessions for thousands of professional teams around the world and across all types of business and industries including: Advertising, Automotive, Consulting, Construction, Education, Electronics, Energy, Financial, Health & Medical, Hospitality& Tourism, Insurance, Legal, Manufacturing, Marketing, Non-Profit & Community, Pharmaceutical, Real Estate, Restaurant & Food Service, Technology, Telecommunications, Transportation.

Toya Jervay is a skilled facilitator who brings a variety of professional experiences to the Direct Effect Team. With early beginnings as a youth missionary miming on the streets of Leon, Mexico to the present, she has facilitated team building, conflict resolution and art workshops as well as ATOD and parent the parent trainings for non profits and corporations in the United States, Italy, and Japan including: Universal Studios, The Magic Johnson Foundation, Michael Crawford International Fan club, Cal State University, Biola University, Concordia University, and Emory University, The 1996 Olympics, Taylor and Associates Architecture Firm, Goldman Sachs, Disney, YMCA, YWCA, The JR League, over 50 non-profit agencies and various youth and adult groups. She has trained with and worked for Project Adventure, Inc., Free Arts for Abused Children-Los Angeles and Catskill Outback Adventures- New York, as well as served on the board of directors and steering committees for national non-profit organizations. With over 12 years experience, education and certifications in Psychology, Outdoor Therapeutic Counseling, Life Coaching, Art for healing, Ropes Course and Team Building, Community, and Family workshop facilitation, as well as Volunteer Management, Event Planning, Community and Public Relations, she continues to be a driving force on improving team work in the community and the workplace.

David Simon is an outstanding facilitator who always has a Direct Effect on any Team Building experience where he is involved. He bring over 10 years of professional facilitation and coaching experience to our company. With over a dozen additional years of management experience in the restaurant and hospitality industries, he specializes and teaches the value of effective team work in a high stress environment. His unique perspective of high performing teams has been influenced through his experience as a top rated collegiate wrestler and years of coaching youth sports at the middle school and high school level. He has facilitated Team Building sessions for hundreds of professional teams around the world and across all types of business and industries including: Advertising, Automotive, Consulting, Construction, Education, Electronics, Energy, Financial, Health & Medical, Hospitality& Tourism, Insurance, Legal, Manufacturing, Marketing, Non-Profit & Community, Pharmaceutical, Real Estate, Restaurant & Food Service, Technology, Telecommunications, Transportation.

Ann Tracy is a highly skilled educator, trainer and facilitator providing years of diverse leadership experience to the Direct Effect Team. Her professional experience includes Retail Sales Manager, Sylvan Learning Center Director, Community Education Coordinator Granite School District, Director of Personnel / Operations Raging Waters Aquatic Park, Community Education Coordinator Jordan School District, Spanish / English Teacher, and Gymnastic Coach. She is a respected facilitator for many professional organizations including: National Writing Project, Regional Professional Development Program, and the Southern Nevada Writing Project. Fluent in Spanish and English she an active member of the Clark County Foreign Language Association, American Sports Education Program, and the Clark County Education Association. She has facilitated Team Building sessions for hundreds of professionals across a wide variety of business and industries including: Advertising, Automotive, Consulting, Construction, Education, Electronics, Energy, Financial, Health & Medical, Hospitality& Tourism, Insurance, Legal, Manufacturing, Marketing, Non-Profit & Community, Pharmaceutical, Real Estate, Restaurant & Food Service, Technology, Telecommunications.
